Yep, you can totally keep your number! When you order your DIGI SIM (online or in-store), just select the option to transfer your existing number. You’ll need to enter a few details from your current provider, and we’ll handle the rest — quick and easy!

How long does the number transfer take?

Portability usually takes 1 to 2 working days. We’ll keep you posted every step of the way by SMS or email. And don't worry, you won't lose service during the switch.

How do I know if the porting was successful?

As soon as your number is active on your DIGI SIM, we’ll send you a confirmation message. You’re good to go!

What if something goes wrong with the porting?

No worries — if there’s any hiccup, we’ll notify you and help you fix it fast. Most issues are just missing info or a mismatch with your old provider.

How can I top up my DIGI SIM?

Automatic Top-Up (Ricarica Automatica)

  • How does it work?
    When you top up online, you can choose “Automatic Top-Up” instead of a one-time top-up. You’ll be redirected to a secure payment page to enter your card details. That same amount will then be recharged automatically every month on the same date.

 

  • How will I know when it happens?
    We’ll text you each time an automatic top-up is made. You can also check all your activity in your account area (Mio Conto) on digimobil.it.

 

  • Can I make changes later?
    Yes — anytime. You can change the amount, pause, or cancel the service for free in Mio Conto or by calling 4077.

 

  • What if I set up more than one?
    Each top-up repeats on its own monthly schedule. So if you set up two, both will be charged on their original dates each month.

 

  • Are there limits?
    Yes — between €5 and €50 per top-up.

 

  • What if I change my card or it gets declined?
    If your card expires or has insufficient funds, the top-up won’t go through and we’ll notify you. You can re-activate the service with a new top-up using your new card.

 

  • What if I switch to another operator?
    If you move your number to another provider, no further charges will be made.

 

  • Is my card info safe?
    Yes — DIGI never stores your card details. Everything is handled securely by Banca Transilvania.

Bank Account Top-Up (IBAN)

Automatic Top-Up via bank account (IBAN) is the easiest way to stay topped up — every month, the exact amount of your offer (Combo or Illimitato) is recharged automatically.

You can activate it for free at any DIGI store in Italy: www.digimobil.it/rivenditori — and once it’s set, you’ll never have to worry about topping up again!

If you switch to a different offer later, the monthly top-up amount will adjust automatically to match your new plan.

Plans Management

What happens if I finish all the GB in my offer?

No worries! You can either wait for your next monthly renewal, or activate another compatible offer right away. You can do this easily from your Personal Area or by dialing *146# and selecting "Offerte per te"

Are there any extra Internet options?

Yes! If you need more data during the month, you can easily top up with one of these extra bundles:

Can I use internet while traveling in Europe and what should I do before I leave?

Yes! Digi  lets you use internet in all EU countries plus Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland. Before traveling, make sure International Roaming is active on your Italian number by calling our free Customer Service (4077 or +39 353 300 4077 from Italy; *4077 or 314074077 from Romania). They can also help with info on available roaming networks, manual network selection, and how roaming works. If you prefer, you can ask to deactivate roaming.

Naviga Europa

What is Naviga Europa option, how do I activate it and how do I check my remaining data?

Naviga Europa gives you 10 GB of data for €3 (VAT included), valid for one month with no automatic renewal. To activate it, dial *146# or call our free Customer Service at +39 353 300 4077. You can check your remaining data anytime by dialing *147#

What if I don’t have “Naviga Europa” active or run out of data?

You can still browse at the standard rate of €0.000310/MB (VAT included), charged directly to your balance. If you don’t want this, call Customer Service to disable data roaming. If you run out of “Naviga Europa” data, you can reactivate it anytime or continue browsing at the standard rate.

What about roaming in countries outside the EU?

For roaming outside the EU and the countries listed above, check the rates and info on on the “Tariffe Paesi Extra UE” page. Voice calls abroad are charged per second with a 30-second minimum at call start, with no answering fee.

eSIM

What is an eSIM and why should I choose it?

An eSIM is a digital version of the classic SIM card, built right into your phone. It works just like a regular SIM but without the plastic — making it eco-friendly. It’s quicker to activate, easier to replace if your phone is lost or damaged, and works with all DIGI offers. You just need a compatible smartphone.

How do I check if my phone is eSIM-ready?

Easy! Just visit one of our authorized DIGI stores. Our dealer will check your phone’s compatibility on our DealerCare platform and confirm if it’s ready for eSIM.

How do I get and activate my eSIM?

Stop by any DIGI store in Italy. Our dealer will set it up for you and activate it on our platform — at no extra cost. Once you scan the QR code and confirm, your eSIM is ready to use immediately. Keep in mind: when your eSIM is active, your old DIGI physical SIM will no longer work.

Can I use my eSIM abroad or on another phone?

Yes! Your DIGI eSIM works exactly like a physical SIM abroad. However, once an eSIM is linked to a device, you can’t move it to another. If you change phones, you’ll need to request a new eSIM at a DIGI store.

What if I delete my eSIM or my phone is lost, stolen, or broken?

Call 4077 first, then visit a DIGI store with your ID to request a duplicate. This also applies if you reset your phone or remove the eSIM.
