Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our technical team. This role will play a key part in ensuring our infrastructure and services comply with current regulations, translating regulatory requirements into concrete projects and managing their implementation.

Key Responsabilities

Regulatory Monitoring: Closely and continuously monitor the publication of acts, resolutions, and measures issued by national (e.g., AGCOM) and European (e.g., BEREC) regulatory bodies. Support the monitoring of directives from the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN) and provide the relevant company departments with timely updates
Interaction with Authorities: Actively participate in meetings, technical roundtables, and consultations organized by regulatory authorities, representing the company’s interests and providing qualified feedback
Requirements Analysis: Translate regulatory provisions and requirements into clear and detailed technical specifications. Work closely with Network Engineering teams to assess technical feasibility and transform these specifications into actual projects
Regulatory Project Management: Act as Project Manager for projects deriving from regulatory obligations, ensuring compliance with timelines and defined objectives. Oversee progress and ensure successful completion of each project phase
Project Support: Provide support in managing other projects within the technical department, contributing to the overall goals of the team

Must Haves Qualities & Talents

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in similar or related roles (e.g., PMO, Regulatory Specialist) within the telecommunications sector
Education: Degree in Engineering (preferably Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science) and/or in Legal Studies. Candidates with a legal background must demonstrate strong interest and aptitude for understanding technical topics related to telecommunications
Telco Sector Knowledge: Solid understanding of the telecommunications industry, including major fixed and mobile network architectures and the regulatory frameworks governing the sector
Project Management Skills: Proven experience in project management, with familiarity in project management methodologies and tools
Languages: Excellent written and spoken English
