Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our technical team in Milan. The role offers the opportunity to work in a structured and international environment with continuous professional development, exposure to strategic regulatory projects in the telecommunications sector, and close collaboration with technical and engineering teams. You will play a key role in ensuring that our infrastructure and services comply with current regulations, translating regulatory requirements into concrete technical projects and supporting their successful implementation.

Key Responsabilities

Regulatory Monitoring: Continuously monitor publications, resolutions and regulatory measures issued by national authorities (e.g., AGCOM) and European bodies (e.g., BEREC). Collaborate in monitoring communications from the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN) and ensure that relevant internal departments are informed about regulatory developments
Interaction with Authorities: Actively participate in meetings, technical working groups and public consultations organized by regulatory authorities, representing the company’s interests and providing qualified feedback
Requirements Analysis: Translate regulatory provisions and requirements into clear and detailed technical specifications. Work closely with Network Engineering teams to assess technical feasibility and transform these requirements into concrete implementation projects
Regulatory Project Management: Act as Project Manager for projects derived from regulatory obligations, ensuring compliance with timelines and project objectives while monitoring the progress and completion of each phase
Project Support: Provide support in managing additional projects within the technical department, contributing to the overall objectives and efficiency of the team

Must Haves Qualities & Talents

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in similar or related roles (e.g., PMO, Regulatory Specialist) within the telecommunications sector
Education: Degree in Engineering (preferably Telecommunications, Electronics or Computer Engineering) and/or in Legal studies. Candidates with a legal background should demonstrate a strong interest and ability to understand technical aspects related to telecommunications
Telco Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the telecommunications sector, including major network architectures (fixed and mobile) and the regulatory frameworks governing the industry
Project Management Skills: Proven experience in project management with familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
Languages: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
